Founded in 1972, Pitstop Marquees specialise in two types of marquee, in numerous sizes, to create the perfect, flexible venue for your fairytale day. Owner, Garth Bishop, gave us a brief history of the company:
"Pitstop Marquees was originally established by my late neighbour, Brian Conway, who started the company to provide hospitality at motor race meetings.
"I bought the company from him three years ago when ill health forced him to give up work. The company is still small, and family run, we pride ourselves on our personal, friendly, and helpful service." Pitstop Marquees stock two types of marquee for your special day: Traditional Marquees - available in 20ft, 30ft and 40ft widths. These are the type of marquee you'd expect to see on a village green as part of a fete, ropes and stakes outside, and inside poles which support these marquees.
These marquees have no interior support and are supported by aluminium skeleton, making them very modern and versatile.
Frame Marquees are available in 3m to 15m widths. Frame marquees can be used all year round on all surfaces.
Garth added: "We can provide a marquee for any number: from 50 up to 500 seated guests, and at any venue.
